Champions

Has anyone purchased Champions ? I realize it's probably all just lifetime past performances, but's what I'm looking for.

I'm interested in finding a book of lifetime pp's for winners of multiple graded stakes. I'm aware of THE AMERICAN RACING MANUAL, but I think that is far more than I need; NOT looking for jockey or trainer stats.

So would CHAMPIONS be the way to go? Anyone know? Thanks.

Champions is a decade by decade breakdown of thoroughbred horses from the end of the 19th century forward. Each chapter (decade) has a text story followed by pp's of the biggest horses of that decade.

It is completely different than the Am. Racing Manual which in more of a yearbook format.
