Scott Blasi came by me this a.m. poneying one of his charges along the outer rail on the Oklahoma. Only feet from me, he looked so quiet, so serious. Its hard losing horses.
RIP Kensei. I liked you, a lot.

These things impact me more now than when I was young. I used to only get attached to horses I cashed a ticket on or picked as future stars early in their career. I'd feel bad after any breakdown, but only feel "really bad" if it was a horse I had history with. Now they all make me really sad.
