The troops are being committed to stay until 2024.
What a "shit hole" to lose a son or daughter in.

Imo, as long as there is "oil" to be had, and there is continued unrest in the middleast, we will stay there...Sad to say it tho....

As a soldier who went thru similar, I feel for them deeply....Very..:(

Get rid of the volunteer military and bring back the draft. We'll be out of there in less than a year.
