start up

after shutting down last nite, then starting up today my destop icons where double in size. my text on pages was the same. i forget how to get them back to normal size, help please.

You haven't provided what operating system your using?

Windows?
Right click any blank spot on screen and select "Propertied"
Then select "settings tab".
Play with "Screen Resolution" until you find the most effective size (dependent upon both your monitor and video card.)

Following up what Wilderness said, uncheck the option in Properties/Appearance/Advanced button/Use Large Icons.

Vista : go ahead and right click on blank desktop, go to personalize, and go to bottom where you'll see display settings. There you can change resolusion to your liking.

Maybe it started in safe mode! You lose proper adjustments in safe mode(a simple but partly misleading statement, I agree) but that could explain a lot.

thanks for all the help. but the problem is the icons and the text on pages is "larger". yes i can reduce the text zize to 75 and it ok to read. but some of my software programs are now 1.5 times the size they where before this happened. it happened before and it was an easy fix.....but i forget how :bang: :bang: :mad:

finally figured it out (key) FN + f10. i had a windows update and this caused the problem. but now i can read toms posts just like new!
