Live at DRF.com I believe.

The BC Classic favourite is running in this (believe it or not): AWAIT THE DAWN.

I have a small bet on Twice Over @ 13/2.

I don't think Await The Dawn has scared off many American trainers with that run.

Twice Over beats Midday.

He certainly won't be the BC Classic favorite in this country, both before and after that run.

Of course not. The British bookmakers have a huge profit margin on their ante-post betting business. What is funny though is that he traded as low as 4/1 for the BC Classic on Betfair. Why on earth would you take 4/1 when you can be ripped off at 8/1.

What was the logic behind this horse being favourite for the Classic? On the back of a win in the Hardwicke G2 over 12f where he beat little or nothing? Is it because of his sire? Made like sense and looks downright silly now.

I wouldn't take him at 80-1, but we seem to agree on his chances.

Anyone who backed him at 8/1 was silly. It's just the bookmakers capitalizing on British and Irish patriotism.

Then again, I didn't think he would be 100% for this race with the Classic only 2 and a half months away. I would take 80/1 for sure.
