I have used this product AND its competitors several times as I am a real stickler for having a good, complete, current backup. I currently have two 120's both identical this morning. When using the program that comes with the HD, the way it runs forces my copy cd to rename partitions. It is also is NOT an exact complete map old to new. The program I really love for piece meal backups is Drive Image 7 but it doesn't work well for a hd with more than one partition.
The Copy Commander, allows you a step near the end where you can actually turn off the computer before you run the newly copied hd. This step is crutial as it allows you to change the hard drive from Slave to master and remove the old master. When it reboots all the stuff looks identical to the old hd. Great product from www.v-com.com
