Kyle Pellot has moved his tack from Parx to Del Mar. Big move for the apprentice who stands ranked at 176th in the US. His record is 366 starts 37wins
45 seconds 42 thirds for $1,039,052 in purses. His agent is RC Ebanks. Ebanks must think pretty highly of the kid. How does the forum rate his chances of making a name for himself in SO Cal?

He fell off a horse and broke his wrist i think. He's gonna miss the rest of the meet. If Ronnie is representing him, he will do well.

He was pretty solid in Philly but maybe he just figured out the nuances of that track. Its a big step up to go against that colony out there.

From today's Bris-

Apprentice jockey Kennel Pellot's initial Del Mar experience is over after one day. Pellot suffered a broken wrist in Wednesday's 8TH race when he fell off his third mount on his first day of action at Del Mar since coming West following the end of the Parx Racing meeting in Philadelphia. Pellot finished second aboard Purple Starduster (Stormello) in the 2ND race and ninth on Dearly Concerned (With Distinction) in the 5TH then fell from Good Mojo (Discreet Cat) less than a half-mile into the 8TH and last race of the day. Pellot, 18, came to Del Mar off 24 wins from 188 mounts without incident at the Pennsylvania track, but his foot slipped from one of the irons and he lost his balance, said Ron Ebanks, whose son R.C. was booking mounts for Pellot. The rider was to see an orthopedist Thursday at Scripps Hospital to determine if surgery would be required. He is expected to be sidelined for six weeks or so and will spend some of that time at his home in Puerto Rico...
