Place pool = 5800

winners part... 2700
second finisher ...300

18% takeout

How much does an extra $100 place wager effect the winners price in percentage. example is the place roi is .97 for $1 will an extra hundred to place drop it by 1% or by 5% overall... not accounting for breakage.

i don't know how to calculate that, but what i can tell you is that due to netpool pricing you get less payoffs in place and show on short price horses. why i have no clue. i think net pool pricing is screwing the adw's somehow and the place and show players are getting the worst of it.

my adw told me that was correct, payoffs on longer odds horses are higher and shorter on chalk. Next project is to figure for second choices the roi on my plays.

A favored horse gets to the minimum payoff with less money wagered on it than it did under old system. If you bet longer priced horse to place or show, net pool pricing is very good deal. It does screw the ADWs some when the minimum payoff comes into play.

before the netpool, if you were a good show bettor you could make some money especially with the rebate. i am playing mostly baby races this time of the year, i will get back to the show hole around the end of october

There maybe other tracks that break to a nickel but I don't who they are.

the adw's and simulcast outlets make a fortune on the breakage. the problem with nyra is the rebate is awful even though they give you the shot because tehy pay the nickle.
