I caught this in the Oct BRIS newsletter:

"Keeneland and Belmont will alternate post times this fall," Nicholson continued. "On most days, races will be spaced about 15 minutes apart, enabling simulcast patrons a greater opportunity to watch the post parade and wager on their selection."

They are also lowering the takeout on all wagers for the fall meet to 16%. It looks to me like Keeneland is finally attempting to 'get it right.'

Those stupid little show bets could have made you some big cash at Lrl today! Me, I hit a $71 horse to win only to find out he pays $123 to show!

My show payoffs are between $2.60 and $5.40 normally, the biggest being horses going up in class. I am working on win % bets now. Amazing how a lot of peopole refuse to bet longshots even after the 2nd win in a row! I have sucess betting longshots winning last time out with a top trainer.
