colonial is a track I really believe you have a better chance of winning being there in person. The two times I played there this year and pre picked all the races I lost. Out of the 11 times I went live I came back a winner 9 times. Jason

It has a lot to do with that. My general approach when I am there is to load up on the horses I am sure ( or as sure as I can be ) that they are sound and came out of the last race in good shape. There have been some horses this meet that have galloped out, and galloped back so strong I have been keeping a mental note on each one of those. There have also been horses that can barely walk back to the barn, which I play against the next race, often at very low odds. Also when I say load up, I am not talking about changing the pools like some people on here would be able to do. I am talking about keying around the horses in every pick3, pick4 ticket I play, and using in the superfectas which I usually play for 50cent, $1, or $2 amounts. I did well at the beginning of the meet just by knowing from the past who usually comes out firing, and which track horses have ran well from in the past, but after the first 2-3 weeks of the meet what I wrote above is exactly what I have been doing and I have hit some nice tickets this year. The first half of the meet I have beaten them. The second half I am not so far. Maybe they are sore?? It's always good to be present, but I wanted to give the whole meet a try this year (turf anyway). Two more days to go.

I like what you are doing. I have been playing the whole meet ( minus a few week days during the meet ) for 5 or 6 years now. I live 45 minutes away so it isn't that bad for me to be there on the weekends. The last few weeks of the meet are usually filled with lots of winning favorites, and lots of winning longshots but not many winners in between. Next year maybe we can come up with a winning plan for the whole meet. This has been my best year yet and I have a few new tricks up my sleeve. Jason

Last year, the last two weeks I was right on. This year not so, but I do love the meet. It's not all that far either, maybe next year I'll head down.

just let me know next year what weekend you are going to make it down. I can only hope I do this well next year and that the multi race tickets pay this much next year. Jason
