Trying to score an easy ALW win? Ended up running second.

they must have been at sulfolk 50 times in the last 4 years before today, along with christophe clement, nick zito, and a few others.

Godolphin probably didn't even know he had a horse running at Suffolk today. Like most trainers with massive stables, he's got hands that make these decisions and take care of certain regions. Rick Mettee is his top U.S. East Coast assistant and probably placed this horse here.

they always had horses that ran on masscap day in either the masscap or the undercard stake races. last year they sent 3 to sulfolk and i remember 2 of them winning.

I guess i've just never noticed goldolphin sending any horses to suffolk before. Zito and clement run a bunch of horses at suffolk. clement had a winner at saratoga on saturday or sunday that ran its first race at suffolk in may. I wish a couple more big trainers would send some of their cheap stock there, they make some really good prices.

Same thing Clement did with the last race maiden winner sunday at saratoga. First start was at Suffolk, I almost left the horse off the pick4 ticket until luckily I saw it was a Clement horse and remember him doing the same thing last year.
