Eddie Read Head to Head Matchup at DMR

No indication in the BRIS pp's who the participants are in the first scheduled Head-to-Head wager in the Eddie Read. I had to do a Google search to finally come up with this info via Brad Free's DRF blog. Are they trying to keep it a secret so they won't have to have too large a handle at 10% takeout? : )

For those not in the know, the matchup is Acclamation (6) vs Caracortado (7). Is Saratoga going to take this wager? Any opinions on the matchup? I think Rosario aboard Acclamation could put them to sleep and steal it. We'll see if Talamo made the right call in sticking with Caracortado.

I was surprised to see Acclamation scratched from the 12F Sunset to run here at 9F. I don't think he will be effective against the faster pace where he will be pushed by Smart Bid and the mare. IMHO Carocortado should dust him.

possibly want to wait until they have early scratches out and can pick a couple for an even money pair
