I have driven past that track so many times and never had time to stop in, but would still love to visit it. Have a good day!

I recently read the book "Not By A Long Shot" by Thornton. It's about the 2000 season at Suffolk.

It was interesting and reminded me of some of the same issues at my home track, Canterbury.

i just got back from sulfolk, it was pretty good except they no longer make a chef salad which they used to call the GERO'S salad, i hardly knew a single face in that place. i would say there might have been about 500 people in the whole establishment. but it was some fun for a dull afternoon in the racing world.

If i remember correctly, the book " 30 Tons a Day " revolved around Suffolk/owner of Suffolk. Its an older book, late 60's early 70's maybe? rbj
