Or is it that 'theBO' is really on the side of BigBusiness.

"Houston-based Halliburton reported a profit of $739 million, or 80 cents a share, up from $480 million, or 53 cents a share, a year earlier"

at those profits Halliburton would have lost money if they had invested in Gold.

go BigDick Go...yep.

You're right. I can't argue with skate because I never know what the hell he's talking about. Or why we should consider it important.

you most likely were not born at the time but is was often said, during the Bushey years, that Big Business was in bed with the Right dingers, the conservatively open minded race of people, that include ALL religions, races, sexes, high /low IQ'd and members of da PA forums. but as we can now "SEE" it was not just because BigDick was in the BigHouse, noppers.

Be....cause, look see...it's BigDick on his own, watch him run, to the Bank, laughing all the way...hey hey hey...now.

Okay, Skater. The scary part is that I have come to actually understand what you are saying.

Maybe worse, but I often seem to agree with you.

Good to see that Liberals here are approving of Halliburton's business success in 2011. In 2004 I recall many of you were posting this company was one of the many gluttonous/ evil/ greedy things that reflected poorly on the US....What gives?

could be. :)

but my sarcasm meter needle was as far right as possible on my post....funny how when their guy is in the WH they become silent on a lot of the old dead horse issues (guantanamo, bigHealthcare corps, wall street meanies, halliburton, etc etc). 3 yrs ago they couldn't shut up about how these topics were destroying america....yet here we are 30 months in to Hope and Change....it's the same ol same ol, nothing ever changed, LOL

They got McSame whether they like it or not

Would they actually have lost money, or just not made as much profit?

Just asking.

Good point, i was looking at the comparable profit points, which one was highest.

the underlying reason "why i flunked so many test", but never again, nope, i refuse to be tested.:)
