I did squat yesterday, but my brother Richie (Bay Shore, NY) caught a nice $15.20 winner in the 8th at Turf Paradise. He does his own thing but he also pays attention to Ed Bain, the trainer pattern guru. A guy named Doran had praised Don Mills on their message board and how great he was with layoff sprinters and "hidden" drops. He was entering LA DUNCAN, an Argentinian horse who'd been racing in S. Cal and hadn't been showing much there. However he had shown a liking for wetness down on the pampas and TuP was sloppy. Anyway, the forty cent fave looked like a sure winner until LA DUNCAN blew by him like he was standing still. Richie loves this website and got me into it. Four years ago he had a stroke which did some damage to his language center, so he has difficulty in this area. But he handicaps better than ever.
