Care if I jump in and play along for a couple? In race 3 I absolutely love the :4: horse. Going to sprints to a route (18% trainer move) while making 3rd start off the layoff (also an 18% move.) and dropping a little in class as well. Nice breeze on Jul07 for this. :4: :3: :2:

Betting $20WP :4:

$5 Exacta box :4: :3: :2:

Good Luck !!

Going to play one more on here and then head over to my Hollywood thread. In the 4th I like the :5: at 6-1 on the ML. Back to the poly after failed turf experiment. Has some back races on the poly that compete with these .

Betting $20 WP :5:

$5 Exacta box :5: :3: :2:

Race 5 Maiden claimers going 5.5 F. I don't like 1st time starters in Maiden claiming races so we're going to take a stab with the :6: at 15-1 on the ML. I like it when trainers try something new with babies. This one adds Lasix and blinkers as well as dropping down in class. Could wake up big time at a price!! :

Bet $20 WP :6:
$5 Ex box :6: :7: :5:

Good Luck!!

Glad to hear your up, Woodbine can be a bitch somedays. I botched races 1 and 2 by throwing away the 5 in both races costing me the Tri's, it's almost like the big guy is looking down on me and waits to see what i throw away........ then shoves it in my face for a good laugh!

The :6: in the 5th was one of my throw-aways, so you should make some money with it.

Sorry to hear that, once again my throw-away made it into the top 4, i didn't have the :4: in that race anyway, wasn't even on my radar so it stings a little less.

Had enough time to handicap this race and I love the :2: at 6-1 on the ML. Goes 2 sprints to the route just like the last Fairlie winner (18%). Prob won't get 6-1 but we think its a winner.

$20 WP :2:
$5 Ex box :2: :5: :4:

Good Luck !!

The 2 sprints to a route angle for Fairlie works for us again. We only got 2-1 from the 6-1 ML but we hit the exacta and we'll take it..Bet 4 races.. the totals

Bet $280

Ret $332.75

Net +$52.75..

We're up!!

Ontario sired Maiden claimers going 6f full field of 10.. We're taking a stab with the :4: at 6-1 ML. Ran evenly against better last time out and drops in for the tag today. That could be enough to take this at a price.

$20 WP 4

$5 Exacta Box :4: :9: :5:

The names of the horses that ran 1st, 2nd and 3rd are funny in race 7. Blonde on the beach, you coulda had me, and highs and lows.

Race 8 a full field of 12500 MC going 7F. We've landed on the :4: at 15-1 on the ML. Failed at the route try first off the claim for new connections. Cuts back to the long sprint today and drops back down to the purchase price. Bombs away!!!!!!!!!

$20 WP :4:

$5 Exacta Box :4: :5: :11:

Recap - Missed on a few Tri's and a Super because of my bad decisions but that's racing. P4 paid out $2548.20, very nice after last nights miserable payouts. All in all it was a decent day, 8 for 8 on winners and some decent P3 payouts.

I will try a little harder tomorrow, unfortunately someone got under my skin today and i couldn't concentrate on my handicapping.

Nice day today Hoof. Keep it up. The more info out on this forum helps us all win and thats what it should be about. Dont sweat the small stuff. Just do your thing like we all do. Good job!

Thanks Scott, was a little disappointed with the outcome but it could have been alot worse. What some people fail to see is my handicapping is based on Supers, i always use 4 to 5 horses per race, with the ultimate goal of a Superfecta. I have been pounding away at this for awhile and came to the conclusion that i do hit the Superfecta quite often, but i hit winners, exacta's, and tri's even more. That's when i noticed your threads and it taught me how to use the underlying bets to make up for all the money i was losing on Supers...... again thanks my friend!
