He wrote the Gilligan's Island Theme and the Brady Bunch Theme.

Can you imagine having written a couple of songs that so many many people actually can sing.......right off the top of their head?

Both shows are still in re-runs......somebody just inherited some royalties

By the way, do you remember the slight change of lyrics ? The original theme's arrangement was slightly different (less jazzily syncopated), and the theme ended, "... the movie star and the rest ..."
