Heading the summer schedule will be two graded races at Saratoga, the $75,000 A. P. Smithwick Memorial (Gr. 2) on Thursday, Aug. 4, and the $100,000 New York Turf Writers Cup Handicap (Gr. 1) three weeks later, on Aug. 25. Two steeplechase races will be featured on Aug. 4, Aug. 18, and Sept. 1.

That's our week, 2 steeplechase races Thursday Aug,18.

According to the condition book, eleven races scheduled for the fourth of August, so would assume the other days are the same. Still get a nine race on the flat card, so no big deal

Actually if you pass the steeplechase races this gives you more ammunition.
I know Thursday of this week(8/18) they tend to run a 10 race card.
Which would mean 8 on the flat.
Hopefully they run 9.
