My "small staff" is not very good at getting things put up in the middle of the night. Look for it to be available later today.

Meanwhile, you can sign up for the next one:

Tonight is show #2. Check out the updated agenda (above)

Only three items.

1. Understanding Crap Table Odds
This may sound lame but it won't be. I don't care if you've been playing craps for 50 years this short piece will teach you something you did not know.

2. Interview with Mike Kratville, seminar coordinator and handicapper extraordinaire at Horsemen's Park.

The topic will be tips for the beginning handicapper.

3. Handicapping the Turf
A statistical look at several handicapping angles that that will improve your game.

I just got a chance to watch the last show.

I really enjoyed the turf information. This show was much tighter and I thought a vast improvement over the first. Now, that's not to say I didn't like the first show. I'm just amazed at how much improved this show was over the first. This was tight. Period.

I'm looking forward to the next show with Monty.

Now there's something groovy and good...."

Very thought provoking, Dave. Stuff you won't find in any handicapping book.

Tom

Definitely a method to explore - with a decent handicapping program, you could really do some MASS playing with little work. I can literally open the race for the first time and get my play while they are loading into the gate.

The stuff I present generally falls into two categories:

* Statistical stuff that will be helpful to some and interesting to others.
* Genuinely unique ideas or synthesized ideas from other fields adapted to horse racing.

Okay, occasionally I throw in a clunker but these are my goals.

Last night's idea is a very powerful concept that has far-reaching potential to many players.

Those who signed up for the show will receive an email later today with the viewing link.

Dave

PS: I made an error last night when I quoted the the number of plays in our original Monty Hall workshop. Instead of "over 50" plays it was only 30. But I did have 17 winners.

Thanks to Mr. Baseball, we have a link to the original discussion of that workshop (which I moved to the FAQs of our BBS): http://www.horsestreet.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000116.html

Did you pick 17 of 30 live winners? show us that video. Sounds interesting.

Sorry, no video. Here is a link to the original thread discussing that seminar:
