The best thing about that YT vid was the Naked Cowgirl.

Planking. What's the point of it?

Saw a clip on Leno, where he showed a photo of Joe Biden "planking" on the president's desk in the oval office. Didn't get it. What's the whole point?

Best as I can tell, it's about getting horizontal and stiff.

If I heard about it before my kids, can it have a future ? N-n-nah.

I make misbehavers at my house go around the side and plank the walk. :bang:

I sorta did this last weekend... except at 3:30 a.m... in the pitch black... and piched over a platform over the side on to my back from about 4- 4.5 feet. Been off work all this week and hurts like shite, but on physio now.

Ok, 'planking' had nothing to do with it, but I'm sure not getting up on surfaces more than 3 inches of the ground for the next several weeks !

this is not planking. i have been planking ever day for 20 years. its a stomach exercise where your forearms are on the ground holding you up along with your toes facing the ground and you feel it in your stomach.sometimes i do it on a big ball move from side to side called stirring the pot.
