I tuned in to ESPN Sunday to see if there might be any races being televised and I found a thrilling match...of SCRABBLE!
Scrabble? On TV?
*groan*
If ESPN is that hard up for events, NTRA should be over there talking about covering some races.

Must have been a retro show. They used to come up with some doozies to fill in the wee hours in the old days. :D

There is a new network in March- Gambling and Casino Network. I'm sure they can use horseracing shows. Maybe someone will have a show where they visit a different track each week!! Handicappings shows would be nice!!

Nothing that goes on at the 4-letter network would surprise me. I'm guessing a woman is in charge and making all these decisions. They've gone from being all sports to trying to make movies, a sports soap opera, a reality show, and some show called cold pizza. Somebody has an agenda and its the feminizing of that network.

Flipping between the horse races, car races, and football games, I ran across the Scrabble tournament and stayed for awhile to see what high-level scrabble was like. Tenebrous, bordering on cabalistic.

Anyway, from references to dates mentioned, it definitely occurred within the last two years.
