Another Investigation at Calumet Farm

You've probably heard by now that the body of 48 year old Linda Witman
was discovered in an old barn in the back area of the farm.
Alot of the information is sketchy , she was reported missing Sunday and discovered Wednesday . I believe she had been missing several days before
reported. There is an investigation going on and the cause of death has not yet been reported.
I very much hope that this was not a crime , but it took several days for her to be found in that deserted barn area and that really bothers me .

Linda has worked in thoroughbred sales and also has given farm tours at Calumet. Her husband manages the farm .
My thoughts and prayers go out to her loved ones .

The case will probably be closing as the the Coroner has ruled suicide by
self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

I probably watch and read too many forensic stories , but I believe it's
not a common way for a woman to take her own life . Can't be a very
simple determination to make either . But thats the Coroners finding.

nijinski - Have you heard anything lately about J T Lundy? Last I knew he was released from prison about 6 years ago and that was it. Should have gotten a longer sentence in my view, but it did look like a few years in the slammer had aged him greatly.
