Coming off of a good day yesterday and hitting all exotics and going 10 for 10 for winners. Look to keep the money train going on a beautifull day. Track is Fast and Turf is Firm. Some really nice fields today. For beginners, I do reccommend using Twinspires.com because you can cancel your bets or adjust and is owned by Churchill so there are no capps on races unlike most books. Also, I reccommend to play Boxed Exacta's. My favorite bets are the Pick 3's and Pick 4's. I will be playing $20 to win on 1st and 2nd pick, if 3rd or 4th pick is approaching 5-1 odds or higher, will play those. I will be playing $2 exotic bets also.

GL to everyone who follows or fades. Scoreboard don't lie!!!!

you have some great racing at indiana these days. i see good prices and some bad ones in that place. when churchill closes there will be some real solid msw and allowance races there for open company. the turf course is great there and the main track is honest.

Hi,
This is a newby question. Where is info for race levels and classes. I cannot find the specefics I need. For instance, how does a starater allowance race compare to a Md. Special and so on. I know the basics, but troubled about how optional claiming and starter allowance races compare. I am trying to step up my game and this is one of my problems. And by the way, you are doing great at Indiana Downs, impressive......
Thanks

Race 5 killed allot and race 8 killed allot too. You never know. It would of been really nice to hit Race 9 with the #7 at (50-1) came in 3rd to win. That would of helped, over a $102.00 horse if won. I do feel bad for everyone cause I work hard everyday to produce for us. Just those 3 races tonite that killed a huge nite again. We'll get em again soon!!

It happens to everyone, get back up, dust yourself off, and start a new day tomorrow.
Little surprised you didn't like the :2: in the fifth, it has good speed, class and form, my software had it ranked in the top 4, but mind you the other three horses were nowhere to be seen. It raced two weeks ago and that's usually a good indicator that the trainer thinks it's in good form, either that or it's juiced.... that gelding was firing on all cylinders! Ah well, you'll get em next time.

You might want to post this in the General Racing Section or the Handicapping Section, i'm sure you will get a better response there then in here.
I would break it down for you but there are more astute handicappers on here that could explain it a little better than me.

Your right, The 2 had the best middle pace and the best speed figure also. I always go over my mistakes and look at what I missed. Sometimes u dont know what it was cause it wasnt there. Today , the 5th, 2 did have alot of things working for him. Big value odds horse that cost us a huge day. Your imput is very much apprecciated. Chime in anytime. Thanks

I don't get this because your posting losing bets in dollars and winnings in the two dollar denomination. There is no shame in losing but lets keep this honest.

If you had won the headers would have been "won $3000" not half of that.

I think your handicapping is very good but once again the wagers are destructed to blow up. You can hit 7 out of 10 and have a disastrous day.

Since you say you look for your mistakes when another horse wins why can't an analysis of the card be included? Then it wouldn't look like a numbers game. There has to be a reason you put a horse on top unless a computer is generating the picks.

Good luck to you just wish your selections would be more structured and with comments like Kid Capper.

Woodbine
What was it you liked about the :6: in the 8th at Woodbine? It was a first time starter and nothing really jumped out at me, i got burned by two first time starters in the 7th and the 8th, normally i leave the race alone when it comes to first time starters but i took a shot. Nice job by the way, paid out handsomely.

We're talking about race 8 at Woodbine yesterday, right?

Actually, :6: had one race under its belt. It had the fastest early pace figure, according to CJ's pacefigures.

I took a shotgun approach in that race, fyi...I played:

:5: :8: :11: over :1: :2: :5: :6: :8: :11:

Happened to get lucky with the bomber finishing second.
