(1) 7 - PERFECT FIT 15-1
Showed competitive speed in first sprint on a fast track follwed by a clunker that I'm hoping is a price builder. May have a shot in a field jam-packed with proven losers.
(8) 3 - HAGG'S CASTLE 3-1
Won similar race here last year and although the two morning line faves look scary at first glance, they're unproven at this difficult middle distance which got HC his best lifetime fig.
(9) 1A - MICMACEUSE 6-1
Let me count the ways: Dropping, prepped with a wide turf trip off a layoff, working fast in the a.m., two wins and a place in three tries this distance, won last time dropped to this level, and switching to Smith who was aboard for the maiden win.
