i noticed that Jamie Ness has a first time 2 yo in this race. i have never seen him with a baby, usually he claims them. u can see that the horse was purchased in the 2 yo in training sale this past april in ocala. so he has trained this filly for almost 3 months and looking at the works she looks pretty ready for this race. i went back and watched her breeze for the sale in april and could not tell anything from the video. she went fast but they all go fast on the synthetic surface they have there now. this filly is in against a field full of trainers that know what they are doing with 2 year olds, so it will be pretty interesting to see what this one does today. she looks real fast to me without knowing anything.
