An amazing bit of cappin' by toetoe makes the game look easy.

toetoe joined the Ultimate Parlay Challenge for what I believe is the first time and immediately schools the regulars, hitting his first three plays of the contest, all win plays no less, and surges to the top.

Well done toetoe!

Starts with $5.00
June 24 - Hollywood 4 - #1 Memphis Mobster (WIN) pays $22.00 = (1) $55.00
June 24 - Hollywood 6 - #1 Cator Major (WIN) pays $5.20 = (2) $143.00
June 25 - Monmouth 10 - #4 Summer Soiree (WIN) pays $9.40 = (3) $672.10

Upon meeting the minimum requirement of 3 consecutive winning plays, toetoe Banks (3) $672.10 to grab a huge lead! Can he be caught?

Take your shot at the Ultimate Parlay Challenge

That's just a lucky guess ... or maybe you've been spying on me ?

Thanks for understanding, PA.

Speaking of toestubbing, my crush on Summer Soiree is going strong. It sounded like whining, but Motion's explanation that being bumped in the Oaks caused her to go crazy rank, is plausible. Even going first-time turf, she was a lock to me. I only bet $20 on her, whereas in the Oaks it was $40. She won by a pole, and now upward and onward. I wondered for a moment why she bypassed the Grade l for more money at Belmont, but I imagine they wanted to try turf sooner or later, and maybe Southern New Jersey (?) is closer to Maryland than is Long Island ?

If geography has been set back one hundred years, my job is done.

Oh, and the first two horses at Hollywood Park ? I singled them in a losing pick-six. No win ducats, but I did come home with a fistful of lint. I'm checking my pockets once more, just to make sure. :D

I have a show bet going in the opener at Assiniboia Downs, a sprint with a field of six. The suspense is killing me ... almost.

Anybody that tried what didn't even occur to me --- to beat Hilda's Passion at Belmont --- got a very nice bonus if in the money. Between $125 and $150 for $5.

I had two nice ones safely home, then a fade job at Fort Erie. :(
