Just read the 33 years and counting triple crown poll,who should have won the triple crown.
I agree with the Bid being top vote getter,Point Given should be a little higher,and so should Real Quiet.Im a bit surprised on how low Risen Star is 3.74%.If anyone would take time to carefully see Risen Stars trip in the derby i think he would get more votes.Eddie D. decided to take Risen Star for a tour of the grandstand at Churchill downs while Winning Colors was tiring the last 100 yards and Forty Niner making close.Riden Star ran off in the Preakness then went on to win the Belmont in Secretariat like fashion.Ran 2:26.2 and won by 14 lenghts without ever being asked.The year before Bet Twice ran 2:28.1 and also won by 14 lengths.
Quick note:Even though Alydar never won a race in the TC,for those who ever watched Alydar,imo he was better then any horse on the list aside from Spectacular Bid.
