I'm hoping for even, but think she will be 3-5 at best.

somehow, the term "lock" and "filly trotter" don't seem to go well together.

on a side note, while looking at the entries i noticed a colt named Man O' War. i don't think this should be allowed. think i'll start a thread to see what everybody thinks.

I hear you on "lock" trotter thats why I put the xxx in there.
My last big bet on a trotter was on "Momentous" at YR in the
early 80's at 5-2, beat the same field two weeks in a row and
now there giving me 5-2..... up by 5 top of stretch at YR'S and jumps.

you hardly ever saw "trotting hopples" years ago, but i see, now, they're very fashionable.

i see your selection for tomorrow is in against the boys. she must be a nice filly.

Nice driving on a 1-5 shot, keep her 15 or so off the pace.
I loved this horse tonight but who in the hell would bet a 1-5
3yo filly trotter  .

Nothing is like the old days, I will take Key to the city and seatrain
and all the others on a summer night at Roosevelt and the late great
Jack Lee.

And most of the time that was my horse :D . Every week I used to
bet this crazy speedball by the name of "Pay off N" open up anywhere from 10-20 on the field and still caved in.

one night carmine left the gait as usual, looking to go to the front. this night, however, he got parked the entire mile.

as the field approached the 3/4 pole and jack lee was giving the call, he said "and soandso, with carmine, still breathing a lot of that good, roosevelt air". priceless !
