I have been making a killing with Da Silva/Asmusen combo, but at a short 9/5, I want to add another horse in the exacta. Contreras/Tiller has been good to me as well, and I really like the # 2 here as the second choice.

Man, I am kicking my ass. Was really thinking of adding the #7 in a tri, but I couldnt pull the trigger, deciding to play it safe instead. Oh well, $20.30 for the exacta isnt bad.

That's exactly why I threw the 6 away as well. I look at Jockey/Trainer combos as my main handicapping strategy. However, odds dropped big time on that horse, and that normally makes me think twice, and I should. Would have cashed a $60 tri ticket. But, we move on. Been a mediocre night for me, hope to cash the last race here.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I will handicap with all things being equal I go with my gut too. Lets face it longshots don't look good on paper anyway.
