Y'all, I know that combining the final times of the three triple crown races is not necessarily meaningful but I found it intereresting.
Below are the final aggregate times (if I did the calculations right using 0.18s per length) for the three runners who competed in all three legs of the triple crown.
6:31.1 Animal Kingdom
6:31.4 Shackelford
6:36.6 Mucho Macho Man
Whether or not it turns out to be a good crop, I have enjoyed the rivalries so far and hope to see these runners compete against each other in the future.
