Statewide Ballot referendum in ME to put Slots/Casino at Harness tracks. Defeated 67% to 33%.

Scarborough Downs...my bones chilled just thinking about a night I spent there. It took me two days to thaw out!

better yet.. Lewiston raceway! They look like Santa whipping Rudolph many nights. Cold country... still... way south of Potato country.

Those scenes from Alien ...of the Barren Land that looks like a HUGE sheet of brown ice for 100's of Miles? Thats Upstate Potato country Maine..... sub-human cold.

Sorry Suff...you've got the wrong info. The slots go into Bangor Raceway and Scarborough Downs 53% to 47%. The numbers you had are for the Indian Casino in southern Maine in Sanford.
That ain't happening at this time!

You got that right brother........!!!! I spent 15 months there serving Uncle Sam........Caribou Maine...... It is nice for about 4 weeks a year, they have a summer. But the black fly will eat you up the whole 4 weeks.............

I did incorrectly assume the slots bill and the casino referundum were tied together. Casino's dead.
