Let's see if we can keep our hot streak going after we smoked em' at Hollywood yesterday. Playing $20 WP and rolling the pick 3's.

Race -1 6f 10K Claimers to start the card. The :2: ran a winning race 2 back when finishing 2nd off the layoff. A repeat of that race wins this. 3rd start off the layoff(12%) Beaten favorite last out(25%). Gets it done today. :2: :7: :5:

Race -2 6.5F Mdn50k awaits us here is the 2nd half of the double. I'm going with the :6: . It's not too often we pick a Clement horse on the main track but this one looks the part. Ships in fresh(Clement 20% off the shelf) from Keeneland and has a nice work Jun 02. :6: :3: :4:

Race -3 5F 60kMdn sprint with a only one horse having an out. The :4: will be tough to beat in here at very low odds. Awesome workout Jun 04 5F1:00 Bg. Pletcher (26% 2nd out). Gone. :4: :5: :6:

Race -4 1Mile 1/16 on the inner turf Alw25k greets us here. We're going with the :2: for Brown in here. Top turf rider Castellano has rode this horse to back-to-back wins (Trainer 25% winning last race). Race 2 back was awesome. :2: :3: :4:

Race -5 1Mile on the Widener course for MC65k field of 8 after early scratches. The :9: drops back in with friends today(Trainer 29% with the move) after a speed and fade on a Yld turf course last out. Blinkers off today(20%) Debut race at GP wins this and Ramon takes the mount. :9: :5: :6:

Race -6 6F inner turf Md40k sprint field of nine. We've settled on the :1: after much staring at the PP's. What a bad bunch. The :1: is ofor 20 but has speed and the rail and the rest have no heart. Nice work Jun 04. Gets the lead and turns left and hopes to hang on. :1: :3: :6:

Race -7 Back on the Widener Turf MC25k full field of 12. We're taking a shot with the :6: at 8-1 ML. Tam shipper ran 3rd when last seen in Apr. Trainer ok(10%) with turf runners. Wide open race. :6: :9: :5:

Race -8 6F 25kb on the turf is probably the toughest race for me today. I'm going to play the :6: in here at 5-1 for Dutrow. Looks to get a good pace set up in this group and the price is right. :6: :10: :4:

Race -9 The 1 mile Poker Stakes on the turf. Early scratch of the :4: . leaves us with a field of 5. We've landed on the :3: for Tagg in here. 3rd start off the layoff(20%) just missed last out when 2nd best to the :2: . Turns the tables today at about 3-1 in here. :3: :2: :5:

Race -10 The Brooklyn Handicap compact field of 5 in here. Looks like its the :2: 's race to lose. Looked awesome winning last for Mott. Great workout Jun 05. Goodbye again? :2: :3: :4:

Good Luck N Good Racing From The KidCapper!!!

I've been away from the races about 3 weeks, since my Legion bb team started play, I hope I have more hits today than my team has had this week, I'll play along with the Capper.

Race 1-----Hate to start with obvious chalk, but the #2 looks much the best. Both the 5 and the 7 have some back class, but seem headed in the wrong direction. $20 win on the 2 with a $10 exacta 2-1 and 2-4.

Race 2-----Toss the last race on the poly for #6 Bid a Moon, Lezcano gets Clement-trainee up at 6.5 furlong distance. Darley entry always a threat, also impressed with 5 furlong work for #3 Joonbi. $20 win on the 6 with $10 exacta 6-1 and 6-3, also $1 tri box 1-3-6.

Race 3-----As usual will be wary of the baby race. There's been some internet buzz on #5 Artest from the Dutrow barn, and you never want to leave a Wesley Ward horse out debuting at five furlongs. The play $10 exacta box 5-6.

Race 4-----No.7 Midnite Silver comes off a long layoff, but loves the Belmont turf course, will be one of many challengers firing late. No. 4 Pocket Cowboys will be the probable pace of the race and just may hold on. The play $10 exacta box 4-7.

Race 5-----I wanted to bet the #10 Associate here, but he's a scratch, so we'll tab #9 Cousin Rich as the horse to beat. The play $20 win on #9 and $5 exacta 9-3 (Hot Rodder) and $5 exacta 9-6 East Indies. Will play a saver $2 exacta box 3,6,9.

Race 1 winner went according to Hoyle..nice hit on the Exacta Cap't.

Race 6-----I agree with the Kidcapper, this is not a stellar field. I'm looking for something to catch an abundance of cheap speed. Rajiv's riding style should fit #6 Julianne's Approval to a tee. The play $20 win on #6, with $10 exactas 6/8 and 6/9.

Race 7-----Just too many ifs in this race for my money----El Paso!

Race 8-----#10 Acquired Cat was 4-4 last year and loves Belmont, she should fire off the layoff as the favorite. I've always been a fan of #4 Lila Louann and find the 12-1 morning line intriguing. The play $20 win on #10. $10 exacta 10-4 with a $5 exacta 4-10.

Race 9-----#1 Courageous Cat has back class and should be the controlling pace in here. The play $20 win on #1.

Race 10-----#2 Drosselmeyer showed his afinity for this racetrack last time, and #1 Eldaafer can run all day, but the play here is #4 Birdrun. He was wide the entire race against Drosselmeyer on 5/15 and should improve second time off layoff. The play $20 win on #4 and $10 exacta 4-1 and 4-2.

Thanks Capper, that was a nice start and I also had the #2 trifecta. I was a little worried early with the #7 close, but it's obvious he's just not the same horse any more.
Race 1 Bet $40
Returned $78.
Plus $38.

Capper, Just wandered over to Monmouth and hit the old 1-2 buckle my shoe exacta. I just don't have the willpower to wait 30 minutes between races.

The good news, #5 Artest was indeed a runner, and my stand against #4 the Pletcher horse was correct, however #6 the Ward runner was the bad news. Bet my Monmouth money on Artest to win, but ran out here on my exacta play.

After 3
Bet $100
Returned $234
Net Profit $134

Capper, good pick on #2. I thought he might regress after two straight wins, and now on his third straight new barn. Prado's ride on #4 Pocket Cowboys was rather perplexing, but it seems like every time I bet him he perplexes me.

Hope y'all don't mind me hopping in this thread with you.
I've been doing okay at Bel today. Nailed the Hard Spun FTS in R3 with a nice ex getting Kimmel 2nd at 15-1.
Went down hard with Slambino in the 4th (shoulda listened to you) but a nice lil rebound in R5. Built my ticket around the 6 and caught a decent exacta when the 5 nailed him.

Race 6 ain't much but right now I'm looking at the Morrison FTS #5, maybe more for exotics than the win but 9-1 is doable.

Welcome on board Phantom, nice pick on the 5. I actually played the Grand Slam on Twin Spires (first time in ages). Used the 6 and 8 so am actually fairly happy with two longshots coming in.

Thx for the kudos, but i clearly dismissed the winner too quickly. Once a total plodder loser, they switch him to turf and move him UP IN CLASS...he shows surprise speed and then they shorten him up and stay on turf.....he produces his best two lifetime races and gets away at boxcars today. I did a quick scan of his connections and lifetime record and wrote him off.
In a crappy field like this he shoulda been used :bang:

I used him under the 6 and 8, those were my horses also.

Funny thing is that a friend of mine loves the #11 in the next race. Well, after this trainer/jock combo just bombed it out in the 6th i highly doubt lightning is gonna strike twice inside of 30mins....the #11 is kin to a bomb turf winner named Baron von Tap or something like that...we'll see.

Im going to try a small pick 3, Belmont Race 8-

3,6,8,10,11/1,3/1,2 $20

Almost have to catch a price in the 8th to make any serious $. Im not really thrilled with Right One and have a feeling he will go off the favorite. Hopefully we can beat him.

I've kicked every dog in the neighborhood and cursed out everyone i could find...broke a few things too...i fell better now and i am clearminded for the 8th.

I like #11...he gets his pace and rolls home, but you should throw in the 3 longest shots on the board with my horse, just to be safe.

Net Profit $177.20

Plus a $20 double to Animal Kingdom and a $2 wheel to the field in the Belmont.

Someday when i don't have baseball (9 games in the next 10 days) I'll be back Capper, Good luck!
