OK, I listed all the raw picks including those Turfs that got me yesterday...

See my picks from yesterday for the one I missed :bang:

My basic angle when choosing the "raw" picks requires them only to have a significantly higher "Class" ranking than the other runners. That's it.

Along with the picks I noted their Morning Odds, Track Surface (either dirt or turf) and My conclusion as to their separation from the others in the Class catagory. In a few cases I had many First time starters, so, I noted that instead.

Class rating is one of 3 - Modest, Good or Exceptional

BTW - That turf race that got me yesterday had "Exceptional" separation

I had a good friend of mine that told me to focus on one or two good tracks and cut the races that I bet on to 1/2 or maybe even a 1/3rd.. He said to pass many races up unless I can make a clear cut decision. Its hard for me to do but my bank account has thanked me.. just a thought. I love this forum and have learned so much

Your right Joe about using a few good tracks. If it were'nt for the computer, I'd never scan the lot.

Actually, it takes me longer to organize and post these picks on the forum along with results and a few lines of comment, than it does to make the choices in the first place.

Yesterdays picks took about 10 to 15 mins. initially. The PC does the work and I just do a quick copy & paste to a file on my computer and I'm done if I don't care to start a posting.

I guess I just post them for shitz & giggles??

On these particular picks, I would most likely use those with the "Exceptional" separation. (those at the bottom on the results posting). I also would use a Place wager so I have one extra chance to win some money. With the morning odds these runners start out with, they most always pay more even for a Show ticket than the favorites pay to win. That I like!!

If you followed me the last few days, you see I don't like the Turf races. That means I would have had a total wager of $10.00 less those turfs and a scratch. Even on a Show wager, I would have been ahead. My Place wager netted over a 100% ROI.

You would seldom find that ever, in just a few tracks. It takes hundreds of races to find those few combos. The laptop does it in a few mins.

I loves the forum also and it's great to exchange ideas.
