This year's U.S. Open is at Congressional CC in the nation's capitol. With Tiger sitting this dance out it may lack something, but a good betting event like this year's Ky. Derby. I think anybody can win. Going with either Steve Stricker, David Toms, or Nick Watney.

Just for fun, I'll go with DJ and the redemption theme -- no Sunday meltdowns.

But I do agree -- your three have a very good chance and I expect them to be on the first page of the leader board.

Not Phil, but I am rooting for him to finally win a U.S. Open.

I am thinking maybe K.J. Choi. Lee Westwood has the length necessary to contend at Congressional. (I don't know if Luke Donald hits it long enough.)

I'll take Angel

Kuchar is striking it well and if he can put a bit over average top 10 is a good bet.

Took Kuchar at 25-1 which should be more but I like him to do well. Remember he played against and beat Tiger when they were young so I will go with a great 2yo coming back as a seasoned veteran.

PS - Got to see him up close and personal at a Nationwide event when he was working his way back to the Tour and he stood out on body language and class.

Hasn't Kushar melted in the stretch a couple o' times? As boring as PGA golfers are, most need a win or lose fire.

I'll back L.Donald & D.Johnson.

Wow, looks like a consensus building for DJ.

Comments heard yesterday about the greens on Sunday: 14+ on the Stimpmeter. Oh, my, oh my, oh my.

The Open can produce some strange things. Can I bet $2 on Number 24, the All Others field, please?

Strong is correct but just too strong with his pitching wedge. Have never seen him hitting his wedge so poorly.
