This is good news. At least as far as I am concerned. Let some of the other deserving players get some coverage. And, it will eliminate the fixation both in air time and discussion -- Tiger this, Tiger that gets boring quickly.
Now the question: who's going to win? DJ, Steve, Rory? There has been some damn good golf and a lot of play offs this year. The Open will be more of the same.
