I have been playing for many years. If my horse is scratched. DON'T play the race. With my home programs I play normally only to win, because I have set up a selection method where only the top horse is a play. If this horse is a late scratch I get my money back on advanced wagering. When I am home I can put in the scatch and recalculate the race, unless it is a gate scratch. PASS any race you can't look at and recalculate. There are enough races if you have the data base to more then make up for that hurried up loosing bet.
