Late plans now have me attending Belmont Stakes Day.

I have only been to the Belmont track once, and that was many years ago. A few questions for the regulars:

(a) Is free Wifi available on track?
(b) Can food and/or bottled water be taken in on derby day?
(c) Any simulcasting offered on derby day?

Any other tips that might enhance my experience?

I used to attend some of the Preakness days back in the 1980's, so I do know that ALL lines will typically be long ones.:)

Thanks in advance!

First off it is Stakes not Derby but yeah you can bet simulcast, bring water in but no glass bottles or alcohol. Also food is allowed but coolers are only allowed in the backyard. No wifi.

No wifi is available. Plenty of simulcasting will be available though.

a) No
b) Yes, just no glass bottles
c) They've suspended simulcasting on Belmont Day in the past, but that doesn't mean that they'll do it again. You might want to inquire about that.
