Saturday night at Yonkers was far less exciting compared to the 136th running of the Preakness. I did manage to bag 3 of 11 including a $2 straight Trifecta in the 11th race for $97.50.
Here are our free racing picks for May 23, 2011 at Yonkers Raceway.
Race 1: (2) BASIL HANOVER could score here against lesser foes and Bartlett in the bike. (7) DURANGO KID N has raced decent and could get up late against these horses.
Trifecta: 2-7-4
Race 2: (3) AMESBURY seems like the only horse here to cross the wire first. (8) MOON CITY SPECIAL should be considered only in Exacta and Trifecta wagering.
Trifecta: 3-8-5
Race 3: (1) TIAMO is racing well and should be there all the way. (5) JK OWHATANITE disappointed in last and could rebound here against these.
Trifecta: 1-5-3
Race 4: (2) CAPE MARJ gets some relief and could best these with a decent trip inside. (6) BLOCK PARTY hasn’t raced well in her last 3 and maybe tonight she gets back into racing form.
Trifecta: 2-6-1
Race 5: (5) DESERT FLOWER can best this class, but will need a clean trip to get to the winners circle, Brennan aboard. (7) LISJUNE ANN has the speed and good times to get in the winner’s circle.
Trifecta: 5-7-4
Race 6: (4) ERAGON unbeaten in last 3 and has the class and speed to best these. (2) WINDSONG FORTUNE can challenge and raced against these before and has experience at this level.
Trifecta: 4-2-7
Race 7: (1) I’M CONFIDENT has inside post and the Brennan and Pena combo, enough said. (7) ARMBRO DURABLE has raced very well if you throw out the last race.
Trifecta: 1-7-2
Race 8: (3) FRANCO NATURA N winner in its last and could continue here. (2) MERCURIO N will need to forget its last race and get back to form here in order to compete.
Trifecta: 3-2-5
Race 9: (4) FULL CIRCLE SPIRIT missed last time out and can best these with Dube aboard. (7) MANCHINE seems to be improving each race and will have to go out first in order to overcome post 7.
Trifecta: 4-7-2
Race 10: (4) AMERICAN RAGE has speed and can handle this field with Stratton at the helm. (8) TUFF ENUFF HANOVER can get a piece here, but post 8 will be a challenge against these.
Trifecta: 4-8-3
Race 11: (3) HUSHHUSH MUSHMUSH missed last time out and can best these with Sears at the helm. (2) OIL MAGNET with invested Lachance will try here to get a piece.
Trifecta: 3-2-5
