If the conditions change it will have an impact on some horses performance, lets assume all is well at post time. I like Paddy and know she has warmed up well for this, but I am not a fan of long layoffs. I feel it puts the horse out of touch and even if they're rested well, it doesn't mean they have more legs than a horse that had 3 weeks rest.

I'm not betting, because I didn't have enough time to look at all the PPs. It's just not fair that the entries were out on Wednesday, rather than, say, the Sunday after the Derby. Just goes to show you how tracks don't care about bettors.

I would think that Eighttofast goes in the Schaefer unless they try for the bigger purse in the Dixie. I like Paddy also but still thinking about how he was supposed to run at his home base at Churchill in the Woodford and Romans said he was a little body sore and stiff and they decided against it.
