I'm glad law enforcement has these tools, but I wonder how often we are being x-rayed without being given notice. When we go through border patrol are we being told we're being x-rayed? Radiation absorbtion is cumulative.

Portable x-ray machines are large and aren't easily concealed. If you were zapped you'd know it. They have one at the TJ border crossing. Only used if you get sent to secondary and you have the option of driving through or having the vehicle sent through.

I fell for this one when I was a kid. Back of a comic book. Was I ever disappointed when I couldn't see anything! Of course I moved on to the Sea Monkeys and learning to levitate and saw a girl in half, and lets not forget the smoke from the fingertips........
