I always find this coincidence absolutely amazing every time I think back on it...the FOX TV series "The Lone Gunmen," a spinoff of the X-Files, had as its pilot episode (airing on MARCH 4, 2001), a conspiracy whereby a small faction in the US Government was going to remotely control a Boeing 727 and fly it into the World Trade Center, blame it on terrorists, and thereby allow the military-industrial complex to continue full throttle in a post-cold war environment.
