The real talent was the supporting cast. Sheen just phoned it in. I wonder how they'll handle it? If Charlie's character is simply replaced by Kutcher it'll be a short run.

Any guesses on how they will write AK into the show? Would be a kick in the pants to Sheen if the story starts with Charlie dead from an alcohol/drug overdose.

And he left his fortune to his illegitimate son that he kept hidden from the family

Better than that, he left it all to Berta and Kutcher moves in as her son, or boyfriend.......... :lol:

One funniest bits I ever heard was Kutcher saying that when he was kid that his parents would not let him see the picture that made his wife a star.

I was thinking before AK got hired that they could have gone in a different direction :

They could have done a " fast-forward " into the future and have Gary Busey or maybe Mickey Rourke?? play an older Charlie Harper. They could have played it out that one night Charlie came home drunk and got Berta pregnant...and the result was a girl played by Lindsey Lohan. rbj

Here's my take:
Kutcher shows up with the deed to the beach house and explains that he won it from Charlie in a Poker game. He states that part of the deal was Alan and the housekeeper get to stay.
When asked where Charlie is, he says Charlie has ran off with Rose.
