Your post wasn't exactly clear on the point.

I don't think a horse has ever won from as far to the outside as 18 in the history of the sport, ever, in history, ever. Can't happen. Never has, never will. Ever, ever ever.

Sarcasm aside, if you liked UM for whatever reason, I don't see where the 18 post is fatal.

Big Brown won from the 20th post if I'm not mistaken.

This is a great post for him, he won't be forced to get the lead and duel, he can be the one sitting and stalking. I think its actually not that bad of a post considering his running style and whatnut.

Thinking like this is why the trainers aren't picking the post positions any longer. They were constantly embarrassing themselves.

Borel in basically the same spot as last year. Not sure about the horse but he should get a nice rail trip.

Big Brown beat nooooooobody that year. He could have won from the 30 hole. Mo had too many things going against him before the draw. Now he's toast. Wouldn't surprise me if they scratched him.

Jinks doesn't sound worried about the 1 hole and I'm not either. AAA has enough natural speed to out break the 4 horses outside of him. The 6 will be gunning for the lead and the other speed is way outside. I figure AAA to get position about 6 or 7th. CTTT will take them all a long way and the rail will open up for AAA and I'm cashing.

That is correct, but big brown was a special horse. At least on that day
