What race or horse did you not appreciate until years later?

I have to say I was never a huge fan of Silver Charm until now. That 1997 Derby was unbelievable. So much heart. Captain Bodgit was flying its unreal that he never got by him. I was shocked when I watched the replay today, I didn't remember it being so close.
