When I look at the PP's for this group of Ky Derby candidates I come away with the following thoughts.
1. This group is the weakest field I can remember seeing since Beyer figures were introduced.
2. As a group, none of these Derby entrants seem like they can go more than 9 furlongs and 10 furlongs will be a "puking the bit" contest. I am not sure any of them can run the final 1/8th under 13 seconds and 26 seconds for the final 1/4 looks next to impossible.
3. When I look at only the races won and graded stakes money earned....they all look like they are world beaters.
For me, this will be the hardest group to handicap in my memory. :confused:
