Has Twitter ever benefitted an athlete? Just seems like it gives them a bigger chance to say something stupid.

Twitter is like having a live mic (that you turned on yourself) at all times. If you are an athlete or celeb in some way people are ALWAYS listening to what you say....and it's usually something stupid.
