After being closed since 2008, Les Bois Park is back in operation, with simulcasting and then live racing set for July. While Les Bois is a small venue that will host mediocre horses and only offer tiny purses and be of little or no interest to most of us, the fact that it is going forward after being declared extinct should be welcomed. In these difficult times of closures, shortened schedules, stakes cancellations, and purse cuts, positive news like this is good to hear. Idaho horsemen are eager to go, and hope that Boise area fans support the new management and revived track.
