Opening day at Churchill after carefully looking over the card i found 3 wagers.But before i go into my analysis i want you to go to Equibase and search for the horse Mr.Hadif i want you to look at theses running dates 12/15/2010,01/05/2011/,01/29/2011 and that will make you understand my 1st wager.
5th race-Enders Universe-One of my favorite angles in handicapping races is when a horse breaks his maiden and the trainer immediately places the horse over his head and in turn produces a awful looking pp line in his last race.Then the trainer drops the horse in class and it runs and hides.I have followed this angle and its profitable when used at the proper time.
Enders's Universe ran against good solid fields last year and finally broke his maiden at TP in a msw 87 beyer,Arnold George then immediately ships the horse to Keeland and places EU in a tough 30,000 claimer,Ender's Universe Line in his last race looks like he didnt run a lick,wrong hes holding his form by running a 80 beyer in a race where he had no shot to win,not only that but he had front bandages in that race,it wasnt happening that day.George finds a cozy spot for EU and drops him to a 15,000 claimer,Heres another thing to look at another angle in which i love,Ender's Universe will make his second start in the same month something hes never done before,indication to me that Enders Universe is razor sharp.Watch the post parade and see if Enders Universe has the fronts on.7/2 or above i bet otherwise he maybe overbet.
6th race distance at 6 1/2 is exactly what Private Offering needs
Private Offering last 2 races he was in way over his head ,2 races back he was 8/1 againt Arienza,and that was his 2 race off the layoff,ran 2 furlongs and called it a day.His first off the layoff he ran real good.Galloped after the wire wanting more ground.Baker placed the blinkers on,but to no avail.
Now Baker takes the Blinkers off and look at Private Offerings workout as soon as he hit Churchill Downs zips 5 furlongs in 1:00.1.Borel regains the mount and PO best numbers are the shorter races. 6 1/2 right up the alley.6/1 my wager $150 and i may use him in exactas.
8th Derby Trial-March 26 i posted on the selection section that Dominus imo will be a force to reckon with.Now hes in tough in this race maybe over his head ,but i think he has a shot at a nice price.My wager will be $50 to win and wheel him in exactas Julien will take him way back and make 1 run.I know his last race he showed good speed at 7f.Today if he has any chance he will lag.
