By 11:00am this morning conservative talk radio was starting to back off the "big win" spin for Trump after Obama brought out the birth certificate. By 11:30am half the self-appointed super-patriots were a little glum that Trump is a major flip-flopper who is not really one of them.

By noon the FOX News update led off with Gabrielle Giffords flying to Florida to see her husband's take-off on Friday. Looks like the Obama BC was no big deal after all!

Oh yea. Here's some intelligent talk for you. Some fool from the NY Post was naming some reasons why "real Americans" don't like Obama:

1. Obama didn't wear a flag lapel pin somewhere.

2. Obama didn't formally wish everybody a happy Easter this weekend. (That's because he's not a Christian. Get it!! ;) )

3. Obama is just not the image Americans have when it comes to envisioning the President of the United States. He's too laid back, out of touch....Hell, he's not even trying to comfort the American people about the high gas prices, dammit! :(

By next Wednesday it will be "Nobody on the right cared about the birth certificate in the first place. By the way, rumor has it Obama never uses a tissue and simply picks his nose and eats it. We'll get more on this developing story at the top of the hour in the FOX News break!"

How about we just don't like him for the simple fact that he could turn this economy around with one 5 minute speech saying that we're going to go full bore with domestic drilling? Just think of how that simple speech would affect gas prices. Just think of how many jobs would be instantly created.

Instead he continues to demonize "big oil" and seemingly any large corporation that makes a profit he deems to be too much. A little leadership would sure go a long way if he would just get off his high horse and try to understand how much people are hurting while he parties. He's pathetic.

how about deceiving a lot of gullible people with bs campaign promises, none of which have been kept and the fact that this administration may be doing irreperable harm from which we may never recover ?

Somebody ask NJ why AirAmerica went broke and MSNBC's ratings are in the crapper?

NJ & mosty have to find something to talk about. Not much to be proud of within their camp.

mosty posted some crap about Larry O and couldn't even defend it.

Has Fox even been on the BC thing?

Which talk show hosts have? The only ones I ever hear are Prager, Hewitt, Hannity, and Levin, although I'm not a regular listener to any (I just hear them in the car sometimes, and I don't drive much). Hewitt is a definite "anti-birther", and the only time I've heard Hannity mention it was to make fun of Chris Matthews. I don't think I've ever heard the other two even mention it ever. Has Rush been pushing this? I think it is only crackpots, isn't it?

This board is proof that the intelligent few are far outnumbered by the willfully ignorant.

By the way I have responded on the Larry O'Donnell thread. Your move.

I promise not to mention convicted kidpornster (legal kidporn, maybe ?) Bernie Ward, the Lecher of the Left, from KGO in San Francisco. Man, that's some serious talk radio. They got millions of listeners. That's not good, is it ?

Mostie in Chattanooga ... GO !

I don't want him to leave, but it was a serious question. If one looks upon this little arena with utter disdain, what does that say about the one who continues to participate?

In defense of Mostpost, he catches a lot of scorn here from the other side.

So he tosses it back once in a while. Seems natural enough to me.

Mosty leave? Oh no, say it isnt so, that would take away the fun. We need more left wing loons here, not less. Even though they may often anger us, they also provide comic relief and easy targets for our logic. The ranks of the looney libs suffered badly and were depleted with the departure of Zilly, in fact, a few of us actually miss him and wish he was still here. :D The more lefties the better, it sharpens the wits and adds spice to the debates. :)

Lot more 1/2 wits then ever before.

BTW, mostpost cleans the righties clocks on a regular basis

Mosty would find it difficult to clean a sundial. :D However, as mentioned, he does provide some amusement, as does his brother-in-failed-ideology, Cappy.

I'm trying to help you see the way.   But let me be clear. I do not think of most (almost all) of the people on the right here as stupid. In fact, when I read their contributions on the horse racing and handicapping sides, I am amazed by their intelligence. Threads on probabilities, statistics etc. leave me scratching my head. I have learned a great deal over there.

Then, I come over here. Misinformation is worshiped as fact. Opinion is taken as gospel. Disagreement is condemned as treason. Poverty is called immorality. Greed is considered virtue. And you wonder why I use the phrase "Willfully ignorant.
