Not a good morning for Baffert, not at all. Gilded Gem was to go in the Humana Distaff, she breaks down. The Factor, as anticipated, is withdrawn.

Anyone know details on what happened to Gilded Gem? I assume that the track is really sloppy....not that it had anything to do with the breakdown.

You would think he'll be sent very hard with PVal aboard. I guess Decisive Moment and Soldat will have a say in the early mix.

The Factor being out takes away the possibility of it being an insane pace but it should still be honest.
